Aviation.

Aviation paintings are done in watercolours, and oil.

The paintings here are watercolours. The Taylorcraft and Cf-5 were done for the Canada Aviation Museum, the Zeppelin for the Canadian Forces Museum of  Aerospace Defense in North Bay, Ontario.  The painting "Arctic Visitor", depicting a De Havilland Beaver, was done for an exhibition at SimuFlight, in Fort Worth Texas.

The technique consists of a pencil sketch done first, which is progressively erased as the watercolur pigment is applied. This leaves only the paint. Paint brush used is a 00 size, and consists of very small amounts of pigment being applied at a time.
